A piano trio offers the greatest range and flexibility for live event music. With piano, bass, and drums working together, this format can move effortlessly between subtle background ambiance and more dynamic, engaging moments — adapting to the pace and energy of the event. Rooted in the jazz tradition, our trios perform American standards alongside classic pop and R&B selections, shaping each set to fit the room and the occasion. The ensemble can remain understated during conversation-heavy moments, then step forward when the event calls for lift, swing, or momentum. For events that benefit from an added focal point, a vocalist may be included to expand the sound and create featured musical moments. Each booking includes a 30-minute consultation with a Seattle Pianist representative to discuss ensemble size, repertoire direction, and how the music will support the flow of the event — resulting in a performance that feels cohesive, polished, and responsive throughout the evening. Included in the booking is one 30 minute consultation with the musician to discuss your event and any specific repertoire.
